Players who have never played for Coach Johnson, Geoff Collins "Guys":105, CGC has 105 guys who never played for CPJ. Plus the problem hasn't been offense as much as it has been on the DEFENSE! If Coach Collins has been "KNOWN" as a defensive guru who puts DBs in the NFL and has solid college defensive units, I believe his last three defensive units have been historically bad here at Georgia Tech.

Dude you are a f-ing idiot. So since he hasn't put many in the NFL who are you going to blame that on since the guys he's recruited are just now going to be eligible after this season? If anything that "worst 3 year run on defense" can be attributed just as much to the roster he was left. I don't have love and adoration for this guy either. You can't see the forest through the trees. I, as well as many others, am OK with giving him one more year to turn it around and if not, I'll show him the door myself. You need to chill the hell out and just support your team and either way you should be happy. He will either turn it around or he wont and will be gone. You seem to me though like one of those that really wont be happy if he turns it around because you just want him gone and want to be right.

Entering 2022, I have one piece of wisdom for you, the fans and the AD, HC: You can’t get to where you want to go without being honest about where you are

1. Geoff Collins on August 6th: “The culture is set…Now I’m able to just talk ball, technique.”

(Hmm. Then why did he say that exact same thing December 15th? What exactly does it mean that the coach said the same thing about changing his focus from culture and branding to football before the season started and after it came to its desultory ending?)

2. Geoff Collins on August 16th: “Defensive Player Y and Defensive Player Z, are as good at that position as anybody in college football”

(These two players ended the year with 55.3 and 62.3 season-long PFF grades.)

3. Geoff Collins on December 15th: “We had unbelievable success at Temple doing it in a certain way.”

(Geoff Collins took over a team that had been the 28th ranked team in SP+ in 2016. Temple proceeded to finish 71st and 60th in his two years at the helm.)

I’m mad. A whole lot of other GT fans - from the most influential boosters to the most invisible sidewalk fans - are mad, too. And the more I think about it, the more the anger has risen proportionally to the level of overpromising that has come from the mouths of folks like you, the HC and the AD!
