Giving up another home game in 2023?

Seats between the 40s in the 200 level are not boxes, they are club seats with all you can eat buffet. There were maybe 10 people in those seats on the GT side of the field. Ticketmaster was asking 100s.
I went to the game with a tailgate friend and his wife, plus another friend from home. Last year, my tailgate friend had club seats with the buffet, so he invited me with that in mind. However, what he got this year was on the first row up from the field on the 20 yard line on the Clemson side of the field (folding chairs for handicapped seating, no less), with no buffet of any kind. I was somewhat disappointed, but the seats were free. He was PO'd and apologetic for promising me something I didn't get. He looked for some kind of Tech official before kickoff but couldn't find anyone. I don't know if he attempted to complain since then or not; I guess I will find out tomorrow.

I would be interested to know how many PSL holders opted to buy tickets to our game. The lower club section had many open seats and the 200 level club was almost empty. And it’s not that the bigwigs were yapping it up inside, these tickets were available for asinine prices on Ticketmaster and went unbought. Either PSL owners took a bath or CFA is really bad at pricing these tickets.
This was the part that chapped my ass. GT calls me all the time asking for money. If they had called & said "hey for an extra $100/ticket or whatever you can have signficiantly upgraded seats" I'd have jumped at it. I had no idea where my tickets were going to be, neither did my rep or so he said, until I read on here that tickets were available to look at. I received zero emails from GT until days before the game. The average person had no idea wtf GT was doing, then you had too little time to dish off your unwanted tickets and trade up if that's what you wanted, like I personally did for Tn. With the Tn game there was demand, for the Clemson game there was ZERO aftermarket demand and having no time to trade, coupled with GT or CFA purposefully restricting ticket access completely screwed us over. I can't wait for the next "I need money" GTAA rep to call me. They're gonna get an earful. I've doubled donations and support since CPJ left & the treatment is worse than it was before. Maybe I'm now on the bottom end of the next level bigger boys club & the view from there is just gonna suck from now on, but it pisses me off.

Club STH here... My seats were in the MBS club last year vs. UNC but were in section 123 this year. I asked the GTAA why we weren't given MBS club seats this year and he basically said that GT was given much fewer club seats this year because MBS PSL owners had the rights to purchase them. From there, they were assigned to STH based on priority points (he said around 700 was the cutoff).

So it's not that we (Club STH) were given the opportunity to purchase club seats, but that we were assigned club seats last year but not this year. He did say it should go back to normal next year with it not being a CFA Kickoff game.
So I don't think it went back to normal. We're getting screwed royally by these KO games and it looks like öööö to have prime seats empty on national TV.

I think if you wrote a letter to President Cabrera and AD Batt describing your concerns to them, it would help Tech a lot.
