Godspeed Bama, FSU,Texas and Michigan

I just read a brief article about the Dr Pepper challenge at the Big12 championship game. Although there was controversy about a miscount in the first round, it was tied and went to 2 overtimes. Because of the miscount in the first round, Dr Pepper ended up giving $100,000.00 checks to both contestants. An awesome post in response to the article was --- "Now if only either of these guys could suit up and play QB for FSU or Louisville."

Announcers in FSU game just started to make the argument that an undefeated acc champion shouldn’t make the playoff over a Sec team.

called it

Smart literally says it doesn't matter who deserves it most :bfd:

Bull*$&# Kirby. If it was just the eye test, we'd select the teams based on spring games.

Who is the playoff for certain if Michigan wins and FSU loses? You 100% confident a one loss UGA can't get over a one loss Texas? Sure that'd be the logical thing, but subjective measurement of teams strength has never followed logic in any official capacity.
A P5 conference champion gets passed over for runner up in the SEC?

No way. Texas is Football Factory, not TCU.

Texas won’t get jumped by the mutts.

Georgia had their chance. They blew it. They’re going to get what they deserve. A very good bowl. But not the college football playoffs this year.

Way too many dropped passes. BTW, Noles' QB looks like some late-developed Neaderthal. WTF is up with his noggin?

Sick of media trying to show its power by arguing FSU out of the playoff. If they hold on they should be in or the whole playoff is a sham. It should be Michigan, Washington, FSU, Texas. Period. Ten times ACC and ACC played this season. ACC won six of those games. FSU won two of those. If Georgia had won today with a third string QB would anyone considering leaving them out? If the Noles lose Bama gets in.

BCS computer formula, conference champions only. Debate settled.

Why did we take a step forward with the CFP and three steps backward with this abominable committee? Because $$$. First thing they did was rank out TCU for Ohio State, even though TCU was #3 and won their last game with a blowout.

5 conference champions for 4 spots. Who you gonna leave out if not FSU? Bama or Texas I guess.
This is really the way it should’ve always been. The power 5 choose their champion however they want. Submit said champion to the committee. Committee choose 4 and leave one out.

That being said, if Michigan is 1 and Bama is 4, Michigan is gonna be pissed. Michigan should be trying to win by 1 so they can get jumped by Washington.

Time for FSU to do a CPJ death march.

Yes..I'm serious.

GO JACKETS!!
