If you have some, please keep your personal hatred/disgust for our current uniforms out of this thread. "LOL no i herd were waring our mustard-piss shirts" isn't an appropriate answer.

I believe all the speculation before the season started was that we'd wear white jerseys all the time but wear blue as a special alternate and gold as a homecoming. I'm really excited to see our gold uniforms, so does anyone have any idea as to whether we'll be putting them on against the Hoos?
 
I actually like the gold jerseys, when compared to the white top/gold pants combo. I'd like to see how they look in action, and I'd like even more to be able to buy one in my size from the series of tubes that comprise the internet, but the bookstore is out. I'm amazed we haven't trotted out the gold or blue tops yet.
 
I think they wanted to avoid the whole "Check out what we have!" image. I kind of like it better that we established what our regular uniform routine is before we came out in the alternates.

The only thing that makes me doubt whether we'll wear the blue jerseys is that the Florida State game is really the only opportunity and I don't know if they'd do the gold and blue back to back. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see them doing blue jerseys on Senior Night.
 
I called the book store to order my white jersey and I was told we were suppose to wear the gold jerseys twice and the blue jerseys at least once this season.
 
At the risk of sounding like a pollyanna, I truly like all of our uniform options.:biggthumpup:


I look forward to seeing all of them at some point.
 
IIRC, George Welsh and Uvagina forced us to wear gold for homecoming in '96 by unexpectedly bringing their road whites to the party. We responded with a 13-7 upset.
 
At the end of the day all I care about is the W.

However, I like the white on white this year because the lesser amount I have to look at of that new greenish mustard yellow color the better. The helmets are really annoying as well.

I miss the vegas gold helmets and jerseys...particularly on the night games.

I do not know why we could not have kept the colors with the new uniform and helmet design.

I wish they could have something in between Vegas gold and the current Mustard color.

I like the yellow color of the jersey top, I just do not like the template. I would like us to use something like the Chattanooga uniform, also by Russell, that coincidentally, looks almost identical to our throwbacks from two years back.
 
I was thinking we could trash the saffron and go with pink. And then we could wear capri's with flowers on them.

Doesn't matter to me which uniform our fellers wear. I'm more interested in the outcome of the game.
