I also wear crocs. Wear Josef Seibel as well -- when you are running around a hospital all day -- comfort trumps ugliness. Besides, I am a doctor -- so the nurses are looking at my wallet and not my feet. (TIC on the last sentence--completely!)

So, is this one of the few times I feel obligated to follow up a hit-and-run post because I successfully hooked a few on the line?

I was being facetious, at least somewhat. They have their uses in places where they actually make a bit of sense, but even if I wore them, I wouldn't be caught dead in them where proper footwear was appropriate or required. That includes walking down the street anywhere past the mailbox.

I'm not. I just imagine that the guys who rag on crocs are these uptight yuppies who don't get outside much and are used to getting served tea and scones.

Sorry BOR. The only tea I drink is sweet and the only time I ever picked up a scone, I used it for batting practice. Comfortable or not, I don't do ugly-ass shoes. So there!:stickpoke:

With the inspiration of the gold jerseys, we probably would have been able to pull this one out. I hate to say it, but CPJ really screwed the pooch with that decision. Groh would not have made that mistake.
