That's because you're not a TRUE fan and you don't wear OLD GOLD to the games and you probably support the American Communist Party and punch babies in the soft spots on their heads. Anything other then #CFB53B is for pinkos and queers.

Must be an inherit color blindness in that color range. Not quite green or orange and yet not quite gold. Hmmm...

My Dad was talking about how our colors looked "green" this past weekend on the tube. I can see Old Gold in it myself but it's tiresome to try and explain especially to someone that has trouble seeing colors in that range.

I wonder if that's what Coach Dodd and our forebears were looking at when they chose White and Blue?

Old Gold is indefinable although our 'green' looks pretty close when the light is right. At least it ain't cheddar.
 
I dont really care as long as we keep winning, but I would like to see the white helmets if we do the gold jerseys.
 
There are a million threads about the game and people's thoughts on it, but for some reason when I make a thread about the possibility of us breaking out our gold jerseys, some people feel the need to jump in with comments like "Who cares!? Just win!"

Very clearly, I care. It's a valid point of discussion. There are plenty of threads to discuss whether we need to pass more or whether the secondary will hold up and whether we'll win the game.

I made a thread about aesthetics to talk about aesthetics. This isn't a player losing focus and jeopardizing our game.

I really want to see the white helmets. They look sharp, clean and classy.

I personally like the return to the OLD gold (perhaps I'm color blind, but I don't see the "green" in these uniforms that others do). It looks more like the traditional darker gold from the past--I like it much better than the pale VEGAS gold the team has worn over the last dozen years or so. I hope that the 'new' OLD gold becomes the standard color for all GT athletics, band and coaches, as well as for fan apparel. (OLD gold is our official color anyway, is it not?)

At any rate, I'll echo the others and say I'm even that much happier with the won-loss record and our new coach than the uniforms.

So does anyone know if the team is wearing the gold uniforms or are they sticking with the white? Being one of those crazy idiots who bought all the different colors in jerseys (yes, I am one of those suckers) -- I would love to know which color the team is wearing.

be like, "im trying to decide which jersey to wear and I want to make sure i match the team, so would mind giving me a hint?"

I hope it's something cool like a throwback or something like that...
