That's why, imo, it's back on the AD. Is this guy a clown that's just picking up a nice paycheck or are they actually talking to The Hill about what makes things work? The fact that this guy exists in the background is a very bad sign. Where is the leadership? Where is the fire? This guy is non-existent. Seems to me that he's found a really comfortable home in academia where he doesn't have to actually do anything besides keeping his nose clean and show up for work everyday.
