Lots of improvement all around on the offense. Still some good defense. Most problems look like things settling into the system and recruiting can fix. Place kickers need an exorcism to break whatever hex they are under.

Perkins is the best QB in the conference not named Trevor Lawrence. We played well against the likely Coastal winner. Really had a chance to win.

Happy to see improvement throughout the season. There are very few Seniors...in theory we should start here or better as far as quality of play in 2020.

Graham was 15/22 for 229 yards.
372 total yards of offense; but 3/10 on third down.

I though it was our best game. Mental mistakes and kickers lost the game.

    Progress is certainly evident.

Pass the juice and beat VPI!

Offense had its best game of the season but had some dead series that hurt. O line had its best game. Coach Pat also had a pretty good game.

Defense was either really good or not good at all. Some questionable play calls on D.

special teams are dumb. I wouldn’t attempt another FG for the rest of the year. In fact, I’d make it a point to indicate that we have no ATL place kickers.

    Agreed, all around.
I didn't realize this. The third down failures are painful, but have plenty of room to improve.

Our zone technique on D is a complete mess.

I'm happily surprised that we were within 1 score of beating the Coastal leader at their place today. This team is growing and learning and I think we're heading in the right direction. Graham has a lot of work to do on his medium and short range accuracy but you can see he most of the time knows where the ball should go.

We need one of the PWO kickers to come in and take over. Wells and King have had ample opportunities.

This is the first game that gave me any hope.

I think it's ridiculous that we haven't started letting Harvin kick field goals. It's not like there's a single thing he can't do.

Was wondering where the execution on our last drive was the rest of the game, especially the 2nd half

Agreed. As much as I dislike trying to take credit in a loss, this was clearly our best game of the year.

I have been wondering if Cottrell can kick the ball? He is a good athlete, I think he could figure it out for at least shorter range stuff.
I can't figure out what happened to Wells. Maybe we should chip in and buy him a potent talisman.

Undeniable improvement in all phases. Is that enough? IMHO, UVA is a better team that we beat on a fluke last year, so there is room for optimism. Today made me feel we will compete with Georgia. We can win one or both against VPI and NCST. There is improvement for sure. Still made the glaring errors that unfortunately get you beat. But nothing I saw today is not fixable. Too bad we don't have more games left to work on it.

Kept the game close in spite of dumb coaching. If the coaches stop being idiots we may have a decent team in the future.

Coach Pat called a good game and the OL played well.
