Goodbye Coastal Division

I don't even care about permanent in conference opponents. If we don't play Clemson every season, so what? Start two game rotations - home one season, away next, then rotate. Play a 9 game schedule. Every two years, drop two of the in conference teams from the schedule, and add two of the teams you haven't been playing. Easy. We will still play Clemson enough, and FSU. No more permanent rivals. I hate the ACC anyway.

The new set up is geared around generating the best teams to complete against each other. Face it, the Coastal has not pulled their own weight for a few years now. This benefits the ACC, as a whole. With that said, I am not sure how attractive that makes the ACC over other conferences. Given the ACC wants to grow and not be picked apart.

Aside from Clemson who has Pulled their weight?

This tells me that Pitt, Miami, UNC, and UVA were all in the top 7 (half) from the Coastal joined by Clemson, NC State, and Wake from the Atlantic.

How about pre-assclown show?

NC State has had some good teams. Lately, Wake has been decent. It comes down to what "pulled their weight" means. I say pull your weight as in competes. You are meaning it as in, fights for playoff spots.

I was thinking more like just been competitive vs. Clemson in the conf. Title game

To be fair, Clemson is built more like a SEC team. Other schools require on kids staying 3 or more years and gaining experience. Clemson just reloads. I foresee the ACC getting picked apart, in the next few years. It seems poorly managed. Outside, looking in.

Can you explain your thought process for comma usage? Are you LARPing Yoda?

Lots of folks think that L'ville and Wake( who are our new yrly opponents with clem I hear) are weak sisters. They are not. That's what they think of us. hmmmm

I think everyone is right here. If you want to compete for an ACC title, you need to be able to look at us, Louisville, and Wake and say, "We should win that game" with confidence.

Hopefully CBK can get us to a place where that's no longer true.
