GT miracle wins vs epic meltdowns

Please identify GT’s miracle wins in last 25 years vs our epic meltdowns, unbelievable implosions, head scratching stealing defeat from the jaws of victory or other just heartbreaking games.

I think we need to go back 25 years to include our 1998 win at Cesspool and 1999 Jaspar Thanks game.

Add in Miracle at Techwood against Free Shoes, the Buttkicker Kick and Pick game with Qua’s leap plus the glorious 2008 mutt win where Dwyer broke that mutt’s ankles and Roddy ran wild in the 2nd half. There’s also the 2004 Calvin vs Clemson game.

I’ll start us off at 6-0 for the good guys.

I just remember we had like a 4th and 20 to keep that last drive going and JT ended up making the completion and we go down and score.

I'll also add 2014 against Southern to the miracle win list. If they don't fumble and we don't convert that 4th down pass and score, we lose that game.

I don't see 2014 as a miracle win. It was only a miracle win after the refs allowed the dwags to have a scoop and score after not blowing the whistle with Justin Thomas trying to reach the goal line. According to him, he had crossed the goal line. That was a 14 point swing, so the game shouldn't have even been close.

If there isn't a roughing the passer to extend Southern's first drive of the second half, when it was about to be fourth and 35, there isn't a need for a comeback. Similar to Sneezy going upside Logan Thomas' head.

Vad was lighting them up through the air in the first half. But they scored right before halftime and scored coming out of the half to tighten it up.
But IIRC, Richt going for it on fourth down inside his own 40 midway through the fourth was the key call. He knew if he punted it away, he probably wasn't going to get it back.
