The Black Watch kept them on their side of the field the entire game. IIRC, they finally crossed midfield and kicked the tying FG with about 6 minutes left but Tech couldn't muster a final drive.

That ND team got boat raced by USC too but was already headed to the Sugar

The good: Cooper Taylor causing fumble at the goal line vs FSU with like less than a minute left securing victory out of the clutches of defeat.

The bad: Woody Dantzler, Clemson.

Meltdowns...Can't remember the year (1980 something) but it was one where we sucked and yet had a top ten ranked UNC down 20-0 at the half at BDS and lost like 35-20.

1978? Had Ugag down 20-0 and lost the game. Drew Hill ran back a kick off for a td right after Ugag ran a punt back for a td and that was our last score of the game. Lost 28-27 with a lot of good NFL players on that team.

Sure people have already mentioned the FSU game where we were up 13 with like two minutes left and lost was that 91 or 92...Charlie Ward became a legend...

:( could easily mention ties/losses to teams like Furman, MTSU, NIL, etc....

One of my favorite games of all time was the All the Way Turnt Up game against VT.

BDS was electric that night.
