GT vs. Gardner Webb

OUR O-Line should be embarrassed at this point performing like this against such an inferior oppenent...Would hate to be at practice next week!

I guess all that talk about PJ not letting his team overlook opponents and taking every game seriously was just blowing smoke up our ass.

actually - 3:06 remaining
Tech ball 1st and 10 at the 5 yard line
big penalty on the punt return

This is freaking rediculous. There is NO reason the game should be this close. There is NO reason our first string QB should not be in this game IF he can play. Booker is ineffective, going 3 and out is KILLING our defense. I want to strangle someone at this point.

Block in the back puts Tech at the 5 yard line. I'm nervous as hell about flipping Gardner Webb, something is wrong here.

This game is pretty chantastic, and that makes baby jesus cry.

I don't agree with this, because the kid's health has to be the most important thing. The thing I am pissed about is that the first team O-Line can't get any push and the 3rd string QB has no ability to run this offense.

I agree, the kid's health is the most important thing. And from all reports, the kid's health is just fine. If it's not, the coach should say so.

Exactly. Nesbitt is dressed out. He needs to be put in the game.

I don't really know what to say. I thought he would play too, but according to Wes PJ told him before the game that Nesbitt would not play. PJ is protecting him for some reason, but I really just don't know.

If it's not, the coach should say so.

By holding him out, the coach is saying its not fine.

Remember Tony Hollings, BYU game? He said he was fine. I'd rather err on the side of caution than risk career threating injuries. Head injuries even moreso.

You can question preparation. You can question play calling. But unless you have inside info from the trainers and coaches, you really can't question health decisions.

Well at least he stuck his head out and picked up a 1st. We're down to just clock killing. This is nuts.

wow - big props to Book for gutting out the first down, but this has not been the performance he needed

Booker finally makes a BIG TIME play. Hopefully that ices it. This one hurts! Hopefully they'll not feel sorry for themselves and instead this will light a fire under the everyone's nutsack so we can get out there and finish this season like it was started.
