GT vs UVA 2:00pm on the CW

Clunky? Stop being a cheap ass and sign up for a service dude.

Those of us that pay for TV are tired of the constant whining from you cheap mofos.
Alas, those of us who live outside the Hulu, YouTube TV, etc. service area (ie. not in the USA) need a streaming option.

Does that come in 4K?

A 2PM game projected on a full moon wouldn’t be visible in the US. The moon would be on the other side of the earth.

Technically correct is the best kind of correct

And yet you want to consume their product.

Stop whining.
Don't really recall whining. Just telling the truth.

It's a "product" that needs viewers to sell advertisements. A product that needs me more than I need them. But somehow I'm also supposed to pay for it?

Nah.

It's a product they are broadcasting for free OTA. But for some reason can't stream on their website or app? That's not whining. That's just calling out terrible business practices. You are losing eyeballs for your advertisers and thus value for your "product".

I might be willing to pay a reasonable amount. What is charged for the "product" isn't reasonable. Especially considering contemporary practices in the presentation of the game along with a flood of varied distractions which objectively make the "product" much worse.

Pay for that? Nah.

I can live without it.

So you are in USVI right? US TV rights don't extend to the territories? And the streaming services don't provide service there either? That sucks!

Dish Network is the only option down here, they provide everything except CW Network. No YouTube, Hulu, Fubo, etc.
The World Series was not shown down here, because a local Puerto Rico station has the rights to it, and we don't get it.
I'll be watching the Eagles - Dallas at a local brewery this Sunday, as a business, they can get YouTube's NFL Ticket.

But you could set up a VPN and get the streams that way, right?

I was planning to watch the game in Tahiti if I couldn’t make it to Scott Stadium. 80k lyfe, you know? :dunno:

haven't had much luck, I will test it this Saturday

The way to do it would be to set up an old computer to act as a proxy server then all of your other devices connect through that. Would make it easier to stream through a Roku or other TV mounted device.

Nope, that doesn't sound clunky at all. :coffe2:

Without my slide rule and a globe, I can only guess, but it seems that with the moon being a waning gibbous, two days before the last quarter, a 2:00pm game in the eastern time zone would make Tahiti a perfect place to see the moon the entire game.
It’s won’t be a full moon, so they’ll have to project the game on a smaller part of the moon, but bring you binoculars and you’re ok.

Since it's a projection, it would probably show up better on a new moon, anyway.
