GWG unis for Friday?

Not "blackwatch" per se. But a black "ghost" jersey with some sort of glow in the dark element. Adidas has released these for several schools. I doubt we would be able to purchase one if we weren't going to use them in a game.

Just because adidas makes a fan jersey to sell doesn't mean that we are going to wear one in a game. I highly doubt we will wear these this year.

Yeah, but Bama has TWO recognizable uniform combinations—Home (CCW) and Away (CWW) .

Perhaps we similarly can have both a consistent Home and Away look, and perhaps a third for special occasions. Beyond that, at least ditch the blue pants

Seems like a lot of teams use this game to do different unis, and if I'm Adidas I would definitely be pushing for this one

LSU wears YWY at least 9 games a year.
Georgia Tech historically has predominantly always worn GWG for home and away. Look at the Dodd era through the Pepper era and the O'Leary era. Tech rarely wore GWW for away until Paul Johnson came when it came the standard away uniform. Before that GWW was only worn a handful of times. Once in a bowl game under Dodd, a couple of time in the dark Bill Lewis years, and once in the 2002 bowl game.

I'm ok with GWW for one away game but like I said GWG is our historic look for both home and away. I think we should bring that back to solidify our identity.

For some unknown reason, Dodd occasionally (but not very often) wore blue for away games. The most famous (infamous) example of that was in 1942, when filling in for an ill Alexander, he took an undefeated Tech team wearing blue (jerseys, I assume) for COFH in the cesspool and got slaugthered, leading to the mutts' since discredited claim (tOSU won it) to the 1942 NC.

(PLEASE NOTE THIS IS UNOFFICAL) This is my idea of a uniform schedule for Tech. Lots of teams including NFL teams put out uniform schedules before the season. I've kept it simple and something that can be easily replicated year after year. GWG is the predominant home and away uniform. GBW for FCS opponents to remember the 1990 NC. WGW or GGW for homecoming. WWW for away at Wake since they have gold as one of their colors. It can be used for a whiteout game at home but I don't think that fits this years schedule. I debated putting GGW for uga so that they wouldn't wear red but we've never beaten them wearing gold tops. I also debated GWW for away at Miami. GWG is out traditional look and it should stay that way. The more we wear it the more it becomes out identity like it use to be.

No ööööing blue jerseys. Or blue pants. The school colors are . . . WHITE . . . and GOLD. As in the song, "Up with the White and Gold." Not "Up with the Blue and Gold." And I give not two öööös what Boddy Dodd did in 1952. It was wrong then, and it's still wrong now.

Gold numbers are best on white, white numbers on gold. We have our best GWG since O'Leary imo. Need to see these
