'Tis true:

W -650
L -436
T - 43

...and for the record I might add that two of those 650 wins indeed came against UGA in 1943 and 1944 (48-0 & 44-0 respectively) --just keeping it real for the interlopers :D.

I love how they dispute the two games that we won. And people wonder why we hate them so much!

That's ok. The NCAA and SEC count them as Tech victories. They didn't become an issue for UGa until we passed them in the W column and even then it was a complete fabrication by Dan Magill.:crybaby:

Of course, the UGAy hypocrites recognize all of their WINS from 1943 and 1944 against other schools, and all other teams we played in those years recognize their games against us, win or lose.

Only one particular group of queers tries to weasel out of the games they suited up and played.

I know why --and I bet your why is not the same as my why.

Why do you think your why isn't the same why as my why? Our why may be the same, but I think you're right. You're why is different than my why and that's why we wonder why about the other guy.

Personally, I don't care about football records for teams that didn't wear facemasks and when black guys weren't allowed to play. Just about all records pre-1960's in every major sport are hollow stats.

As a side note, a grown man just broad stroked an entire fanbase as a group of "queers". Amazing, but not suprising considering the source. Mm42 will literally murder a UGA fan someday. I'm sure of it. His prayers each night include a hope that the UGA plane crashes, a la Marchall, in route to an away game killing the entire team and coaching staff.
His hate runs deep. I feel sorry for him that he can't relax on this board with me.

Pitiful person or a message board heel with a faux evil internet personality.

I know it doesn't make it right when one of ours does it but have you checked out the AJC blogs about GT? Your people throw it out there more than ours.

Gee, Jake, you are wound a little tight today.

Do you have anything to actually say about your school's bowdlerization of the records, or are scandalously misinformed diatribes the order of the day?

Here are some :) :) :) :) to go with my "queers" comment, try not to take little internet jibes on OUR board so seriously.

Not caring about football records pre-1960's is certainly an opinion you are entitled to --but it's a lame perspective.

So from a GT/UGA perspective we should just forget about the accomplishments of Clint Castleberry, Frank Sinkwich, Larry Morris, Charley Trippi, John Hunsinger, Zeke Bratkowski, Maxi Baughan and Fran Tarkenton --not to mention John Heisman, Harry Mehre, Bobby Dodd and Wally Butts --the nine SEC championships and four MNC's claimed by the two schools respectively?

That's a lot of history to just toss aside. I won't even go into the absurdity of this viewpoint from a professional baseball perspective --Yankees dynasty, Yankees-Dodgers-Giants rivalries, Polo Grounds, Ebbets Field, Old Yankee Stadium, Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Williams, Robinson, Mantle, Mays, Snyder, Musial, Campenella, Berra --just a whisper of the rich history of the game.

We'll just disagee on this viewpoint.

So there is good in you after all.

I guess I'm saying I don't care what UGA says about the 1943 and 1944 seasons. That style of football is nothing compared to what is played today. Were they tough SOBs? Absolutely and America's greatest generation, but they didn't let black guys play.

Oh, I completely understand that my take on it is a huge leap, but it's how I feel. Baseball is a little different as there weren't that many teams back then, so the talent on each team was very, very rich. However, there were hundreds of guys in the negro leagues that could've played in the majors back then.

Sorry, but I really doubt Babe Ruth would've been worth a crap in 1960.

Football and basketball are the ones I really think are skewed. The records are what they are, but just like every thing else in life, folks have to look at the whole story with records. There is a tradition and it should be honored. I respect all sports history and I also recognize that not all of America's best were allowed to participate 40+ years ago.

GaJake, we would never wish that. But I will say this, and I am a firm believer in this...

UGA sold its academic soul a long time ago so they could throw up a few more Conference Championship flags. For YEARS, Vince Dooley, who is placed on a pedestal by UGA fans and alumni, knowingly ran a system where he was not at all interested in the betterment of his players on the academic front. Your school knowingly graduated players for years in the late 70's and early 80's that could not read or write at a high school level. Your own team of lawyers knowingly defended this by saying that while certainly these players may not be doctors or lawyers, they could certainly better their lives by being the equivalent to trashmen.

Your basketball coach, hired by your University President, in recent years ran the most torrid case of academic fraud in college athletics.

Vince Dooley, your former University President, your attorneys representing the school, on down whipped their cocks out and took a big fat piss on your University. And your alumni lapped it up. Hell they turned the other cheek practically.

That dimploma you have on your wall has urine stains all over it that you can't see. Yet your proud of it for what it means.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate UGA fans and alumni (my sister, and some of my family being UGA alumns), but I certainly have absolutely no respect for UGA as a school and its fans or alumni who think that their degree is so significant because it came from UGA. I certainly respect people's accomplishments. I'm sure you worked hard for your degree. But the seal at the bottom of that degree is what I don't respect. Your school has little to no integrity. It lost sight long ago of being an academic institution and all it represents now are those mad fans in the stands barking "UGA UGA UGA!!"
