Florida certainly didn’t make football boring tonight. But the amount of obvious payment and excess by uGA and bama has obviously created an imbalance. I hope a Clemson that has spent millions to buy their team loses Monday.
 
Florida-Utah was probably the only one particularly close from a talent perspective. I know that one's an "upset" from a ranking and spread standpoint, but it was hardly surprising.

I can still enjoy watching wild games like UNC-App State, but the SEC's ever-increasing stranglehold on college football has definitely decreased my interest in the sport more generally. (And yet here I am.)

ööööing Utah choked. That was a layup win and their stupid QB tried to throw to a WR who was laying on his back.

floriduh sux. So does all of the weak-ass'd ACC. ööööty conference from top to bottom. We're gonna expose Clemson and Dumbo on Monday and we're not good either.

Based on preseason ratings, sure those look like good wins. Curious to see how good they look by year end. The PAC 12 also öööö the bed. And it’s obvious we have a few paid for semi pro teams at the top, then college football below. No other big takeaways from week 1 for me.

Number 7 and 11…I guess you can argue rankings, but neither are middling despite the desire to rewrite the narrative.
