Have To Admit … SEC Looks Awesome

The SEC and Big 10 teams have significantly more money. That is accelerating the separation.

The SEC has Bama and Ugag. Florida had a nice win but Utah looked largely slow and unathletic & still should have won the game. They do commit to their programs as fans and $$$. Neither of whichany ACC schools do except Clemson. If you remove Bama and Ugag the SEC isn't head and shoulders above say the Big10
Yeah no other teams typically look as good as bama and uga

I don't see how anyone thinks we can win this game.. there are multiple NFL lineman going against our mostly sophomore and unseasoned offensive line.. it's going to be a blood bath in the trenches
They’re 4th year sophomores.

It shouldnt be surprising that the SEC has gotten a head start on the brave new world of minor league football, because they've had the most slight transition to paying players and detaching the academic identity from the athletic program.

I would like the playoff system to be adjusted so that, in order to be eligible for the playoffs, you have to play a P5 team on the road during the season. Neutral sites don’t count.

Just trying to be optimistic man. There are plenty of threads on this site that share your perspective.

Just checking in to say I’m watching a mid tier ACC team beating a mid tier SEC team tonight.

I just really like what the SEC has done over the last 40 years. Their fans really love football and are willing to pour millions into the programs. They have built massive, beautiful stadiums and have unmatched facilities. As a result their teams are good and provide their fans with a great game day experience, and attract lucrative TV deals. And because our whining butts are so envious we come up with all kinds of rebuttals like “You’ll work for me one day” or “Their degree is not worth the paper it’s written on.” So we can continue to use our derogatory slogans about their degrees or their intellect while the SEC Commissioner and college administrators laugh all the way to the bank, their fans have a great game day experience at packed stadiums, and their teams beat the brakes off of us. Eventually we’ll just take our ball and go home.
Many GT fans are similar to South Carolina fans and their near mental illness obsession with Clemson when it comes to UGA and the SEC. The whole "you'll work for us someday" or the "their degrees aren't worth anything" drivel is so stupid it is embarrassing to hear from GT grads and fans. The idea that all UGA and SEC grads are working in food service or landscape maintenance is ridiculous. Where do GT fans think all the donation money comes from that pays for al the SEC team's stadiums, facilities, salaries and ticket purchases? SEC and UGA grads make as much money as any alumni base outside of the Ivy league schools. The average income for schools like Bama, UGA, South Carolina, Auburn, etc. does look lower than the average from a school like GT because the SEC schools mentioned have teaching, art, drama, psychology, etc. type degrees that schools like GT, MIT, etc. don't offer.

GT fans and alumni need to get to work and make their programs better and stop trying to convince themselves that the programs that are better than they are are cheating, paying players, not good schools and whatever else delusions they are clinging to.

Every P5 teams play P5 teams on the road. It's called "away" games.
