Hawaii game implications for us

Well, that's what some people are saying.

I'd say it'll have no effect on us at all. Based on everything else this past week, I'm giving up on us going anywhere but Boise. :(

Here are my preliminary predictions:

Of course, Hawaii is mounting a comeback late in the first half as I type this. We'll see what happens.

Now, what would really be interesting is what happens is if Hawaii wins and Kansas finishes in the top 4 - though what would likely happen is that Arizona State gets shafted.

I may be thinking about this wrong, but wouldn't both BC and ASU be in line for a BCS berth.
Ohio St.
LSU
Ugag
VA Tech
USC
WVU
Kansas
Okla
ASU
and then who? I wouldn't think they would take 3 teams from the same conference. So that would eliminate Florida and Mizzou. So if Hawaii loses, BC should be the next team in line correct? Someone let me know if I am missing something here.

The locks for the ten spots are as follows:

OSU
UGA
LSU
USC
WVU
VT
OK
Kansas or slight chance MIZZOU

The last two spots comes from the following:

BC
AZ State
Illinois
Hawaii

BC vs. UGA in the Sugar would be a good matchup.

UGA will not go to the Rose if they don't go to the BCS I don't think. The Sugar would want an SEC team and the Rose would take Illinois IMO. So that would leave one at large team. If the Fiesta takes Az. State, then that leaves Kansas or Mizzou for the Sugar. If the Fiesta takes Kansas, then BC would likely go to the Sugar.

Hopefully LSU will go to the BCS and not UGAG.

Re: It won't matter for one reason.

If you're still up, you're watching a heck of a game.

I'm also a Husky fan and I can assure you that based on their performance this season, they will find a way to lose this game. They have a real knack for letting leads get away from them.

Right you are, Pilot. 21 unanswered UH points and the game is now tied at 28 with 8 mins to play.

Brennan continues to show he's the real deal. 41/49 passing (including 20 in a row earlier and 27 for his last 29 -- a crisp 93%) for 430 yds and 4 TD's.

Clemson is at 16 and with Hawaii and Tennessee both losing ahead of them, should move into the top 14. They travel well unlike BC. That would put the last team being Illini, BC, ASU, or Clemson. I think it depends upon who has the last pick in the BCS. If it's Sugar, a Clemson/UGA matchup would fill the stadium.

Yikes!!!!!!!!!!! Two bombs in a row have Washington in a goal to go situation with :20 to play.

Sack & UDub's last timeout. 2nd down with :12 left. Freshman QB...how fitting would it be to make a mistake here.

Well GT1992, they'd have to lose first.

Also, there's the matter of where Kansas ends up in the final standings....

INTERCEPTION and the ballgame will end. The WAC is going to shake up the big boys' party again.

Sugar has last pick of the at large bids. With the Hawaii win, they are predicted to go there. A Washington win would have put us in good shape for the Music City.

Good for Hawai'i!! I really like them and was rooting for them all night; they definitely deserve a BCS bowl and in fact I think they should go to the National Championship game, but of course that won't happen because the BCS would rather have those cesspool douchebags who didn't even win their conference.

Yeah those wide open air attacks just can't compete with the big programs!?!?&*%$#@!?

Wow!! I went to beat thinking hawaii was toast. I'll have to adjust my BCS picks for certain.

Good for Hawaii!! Stick them in the BCSCG!!
