Heisman

I'll admit that I've stopped paying much attention to the Heisman winner. Is there still a curse? Should be all hope that nutlicker Bennett wins it to curse the Gaggers for the playoffs?

I was sitting at the bar at Cheetah when. Reggie Bush won the Heisman

Signs of the times. Caleb WIlliams dressed in Gucci apparel. Once upon a time, the Heisman candidates had to buy an inexpensive suit just to have one to show up in.

Oh, the times they are a-changin'. <best Bob Dylan imitation>

Two of my favorite all-time QB's who both finished runner in the Heisman were Billy Lothridge and Joe Hamilton.

'Course now Billy Lothridge was runner up to Roger Staubach, but as the definition of the Heisman being the BEST
college football in America I thought Billy Lothridge was most deserving because of his what all he did for the GT team
his Senior year; quarterback, punter and place kicker.

Joe Hamilton should have won the Heisman hands down over Ron Dayne, but I guess I am biased. IMO, there was no better
playmaker than Little Joe. He could always be depended on to make a play for his team in clutch situations.

I had already tabbed Caleb Williams winning the Heisman tonight, because he was loved by the media, but my favorite was
TCU's Max Duggan. He literally put his team on his shoulders in their last game against Kansas State and throughout the
season he brought his team back to wins after being behind. He would have been my pick.

Joe would have won if the defense could have stopped fsu that second half against them in '99 was just amazing
