Heisman

Joe would have won if the defense could have stopped fsu that second half against them in '99 was just amazing
Yea, I haven't forgotten Ted "Leaky" Roof 's defenses, when GT had to outscore their opponent to win many games!

One would have thought with GOL being a DC himself, GT would have had better defenses then.

Roof's D was only bad his first year at Tech. In 1999 he allowed 30.1 ppg, in 2000 he allowed 19.8 ppg, and in 2001 he allowed 21.6 ppg. The rest of his career has been up and down.

If Stinson had won we were gonna burn this ööööer down.

...wasn't a tight end at Tech

All that talent, and ZERO Natties. In fact, zero FBS championship game appearances. His defenses absolutely blow donkey dongs. Year in; year out. He had three playoff appearances, and his teams gave up and 54, 45 and 63 points!

His defense gave up 90 POINTS to Utah in two games this year. Utah. With maybe not a single NFL draft pick on their offense. Certainly no hgh picks, anyway.

He can have Heisman QBs from now to the end of time, but until he can hold someone to under 40 when it matters, he will never sniff a Natty.

I once sat through Danny Wuerffel give his testimony of becoming a Christian by praying to God to help him use the bathroom in a hospital
I had a stomach flu or infection one time and I’m pretty sure I was praying a lot on that toilet.

Yea GT's DC, Ted "Leaky" Roof's defense had the reputation of being unable to get off the field on third down and unable
to stop anybody! GOL's teams and CPJ's team had to outscore a lot of their opponents when Ted Roof was the DC.

Bennett in last place. Was it a record for fewest votes? He's going to lose to Stroud again soon
