Good move. I hate to break it to some of you but almost the entirety of the "ATL" doesn't really give a crap about GT or Tech athletics. Winning can change that but simpin for the ATL/404 does nothing positive for the Georgia Tech athletics "brand".

Are you an ageist against old things? Or just anti-fogey? Isn't calling someone an "old fogey" kind of "old fogey"?

Only slightly more seriously, measuring how much this actually "draws recruits" is a tad difficult but I would guess with some confidence that absolutely ZERO eventual roster players were secured to Tech in any part due to the ATL/404 branding campaign. But feel free to present any evidence to the contrary.

You got the other two right. Branding is superfluous. Without the other two, I don't think it means all that much. And we just had three plus years of that as evidence.
Had a fairly good high school coach who had some good recruits tell me as much just after Collins got hired. Said all that looks good but if you don't win, it just comes off as empty gimmicks.
