I am reading all these post and don't get the fights!? I am a Tech player/fan and want to make a good show and get listeners from all boards. I feel like I entered a war and everyone acts like I am joining with the enemy? I am not a gossip person, I dont care what BeBad may or may not have said, I care to unite the GT family and have a interesting show. If BeeBad is as bad as you all say he is then he will be kicked off the show in no time. Expressing thoughts and opinions is a part of football as it makes it fun and interesting. LETS FORGIVE, FORGET AND LOVE YOUR FELLOW GT BROTHER.
 
I'm not sure I understand it either. I read and post on all four boards, and the strangest thing is that buzzoff and stingtalk spend a lot of time talking about each other and the Hive. All four have relevant discussions.

Good luck with the draft Adamm. Do you have any idea where you'd be going?

RR and Beebad annoy the hell out of me for completely different reasons.
 
Anyone who uses proprietary information from his discussion forum's private database to chase ex-posters around the internet and send them unprompted harassing emails is a tool. Anyone who "wins arguments" by editing out relevant points of people arguing against him is a tool. Anyone who runs a website who's sole purpose is to get another human being fired is a tool. Beebad is a tool, in every sense of the word.

I'm sure you wouldn't abuse your moderator privileges like that, would you Adam? Didn't think so.

You can break up the "board wars" into three groups. Not everyone fits perfectly into the groups, but they do provide a broad generalization.

Group 1: Newcomers to the boards. These are fonts that have just recently started posting - whether or not they have been viewing the boards for a long time. This group is scratching their heads at the board war and wondering "What the heck?!"

Group 2: Fonts who were not here during the initial split of the boards but were here during the last 1-2 years of the Gailey era. This group understands the situation but does not have an extreme emotional feeling toward one side or the other. This group is convertable.

Group 3: The originals. This group was here throughout the nasty "divorce." This group is the most extreme in their views and will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to convert.

The main issue you now have is Beebad burned a lot of bridges during his campaign to fire Gailey. The Beebad and BBuzzoff you see today is not the same board/admin as group two and three know. Most of us are simply waiting for our first loss to see how that board reacts. For an image of the old Bbuzzoff, take a look at Wrecks-n-effects - then make it ten times worse.

FYI - I'm part of group 2.

Hey Adamm, you're grown and I respect your right and ability to choose your colleagues. I'm not attempting to try to change your viewpoint of peepad.

But he is NO "GT Brother," and I won't/can't patronize anything he's associated with. He's a hater and a divider and it's absolutely sickening that he and I both call ourselves Tech fans.

There is no going back from the places he went when Gailey was here.

No offense Adamm, but not a chance. My problem with the man is that he's a hypocrite, plain and simple. He says he's for "no holds barred debate", but he deleted numerous posts from me that did not line up with his argument. Additionally, he banned me from his site because of something I posted at StingTalk - at least, that's what I think because I never got an email explaining my banishment. He may or may not be a jerk in "real life", but his posts make him seem like a jerk so people think he's a jerk.

He's a hate monger, and people don't like him because of it. That's where the animosity comes from.

Don't be a sucker.

I don't have a problem with you or your website. But you need to know that the guy you are getting on the air to garner some listeners as in some way or form sh!t on every aspect of GT, from the players, to the fans, to the coaches, to the alumni, to the traditions.

And I'm not talking about harsh criticisms either, I criticze people harshly and so do others. I'm talking about insults and lies that have no credibility or place in discussion.

Beebad is using you to justify to the GT community that what he has done and said over the last 3-4 years is perfectly acceptable and justified. Whether you agree with it or not, all you are doing now by having him on your show, is saying that those lies and insults are perfectly ok to you as a player and representative of GT. Just because you weren't around to hear it, doesn't indemnify you. You are promoting him by allowing him on your show, so you are promoting what he has said in the past. Guilt by association.

I like your eagerness to have a great GT website and I wish you all the success, but you know not what you are doing.

Adamm,

Beebad has an agenda for his board, it's to create controversy among GT fans. He starts many topics with negative slants towards GT. The way he's ripped GT (not just Gailey) would make most GT fans sick. As much as he tries to claim otherwise, he does cnesor his board against posts that directly contradict claism he makes. I'm not talking about personal attacks, I mean sensible posts.

He's not a GT fan AFAI'm concerned. I know he's not a GT grad, I forgot where he comes from, but he's more trouble than he's worth.

Redardless, I'll still be a fan of The Machine, just maybe not his guest speakers (33jacket is cool tho).
