I wouldn't worry about fans listening to your show. There are enough of us out here that have no agenda with anyone to listen and take part.

I like the show and I like the personalities. Don't worry about what people think, just keep doing what you are doing and they will come!:biggthumpup:
 
I just like football... GT football....

I am seeing through these posts that there is some smoke still lingering from some old fires. And its good to get it out in the open to help put those fires out forever.

What I am very discouraged by is that much that is posted on these sites is self-serving, no matter which side of the "argument" you are on.

Guys, even though our feelings are real. They can hold us back, lie to us, make us miss out on what is potentially positive.... I'm hoping the summer will give time for these things to heal.

Why, because it wastes my time, and your energy to keep bearing the burdens of the past. It makes pretty good "reality TV type" reading but really makes me wonder if being a Tech fan is actually any fun for any of you....

Maybe by 2009 we'll all be ready to forget how we feel, based on the truth of a new successful program and a coach who will keep us informed about FOOTBALL.... and a neutral ground where real voices and not fonts do all of the "talking".... MeettheMachine.com

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. Think about it man....

What would you be rather lead around by... the way you feel or the truth of the matter.....

If you are looking at the past, and that day is over then it is how you feel that is driving your decisions.

The truth is you can change your mind about how you feel and move forward.

If the past repeats itself, you were right and the way you felt was the truth. AS in the case of BeeBad...

But if he actually turns things around, you are just bearing the burden of your past feelings as every else goes on with life....

GT needs all its fans.... And it would be great if they could approach the future together.

But as I am beginning to see, it is not about GT football here as much as it is a place to vent and gripe as it is a GTfootball forum.

1.) First off, I know I'm right. (I always am, don't you know that?) Which is why there are about 10 people in this thread who agree with me. The past has repeated itself several times already in that there are infinite experiences people have had with one person (Beebad) that has defined him and our opinions of him over a four year period. It's not just a handful of cases or based over a short period of time.

2.) And if he wants to turn things around, that's totally up to him not us. He is more than capable of swallowing a little pride, showing some humility and letting people know that he was a complete a$$hole.

And as far as GT needing all of its fans, I would agree. But what is your definition of fan? Mine is someone who supports the team, cheers for the team, and doesn't insult and take cheap shots at players, recruits, other fans, alumni, the traditions we pride ourselves on, and the school itself. I'm not a Gailey fan, but even I think its totally ridiculous and insulting to GT when GT won a football game under Chan Gailey, he closed down his website, only to open it back up when Gailey lost.

You can criticize things all you want but you don't have to insult players, recruits, fans, alumni, traditions and Georgia Tech itself needlessly in order to accomplish that which he has done on more than a few occassions.

Beebad has in some way, shape or format sh!t on every aspect of the school and program you and I both are fans of. If you are new and haven't been around to see it, then you probably don't need to lecture those that have an actual bearing of reference on the subject.

Forgive and forget? I think most people here are fair and at some point were willing to do just that. Problem is it hasn't done us any good. So we just forget. Out of sight, out of mind. Ignoring him is the easiest thing we can do, until a guy like Adamm and yourself come along and start promoting him on this board.

In that case, I'm going to tell you to shut the #$@! up because we don't want to hear it. Which up until now we were all trying to do in a tactful Christian way as I'm sure you can appreciate.

Bottom line is this:
None of us have a problem with Beebad anymore because he has his own forum and we can dig that.The problem occured when Adamm decided to promote Beebad on this board in effect shoving a guy we already don't like in our face.
 
Once again, BOR is right on target. nwgatech, if you have no frame of reference you really should probably sit this out. Beebad made this bed and if Adamm wants to get in with him that's his business. BTW, how does staying away from someone who has already proven what he is, have anything to do with supporting Tech?

I stay away from things I don't find any value in as well. For me now, it would be this thread.

Proposed ideas to correct the situation:

1. We all sit in a circle holding hands and singing koom-ba-yah. As a matter of fact, that sounds like my latest sales meeting.

2. Stingtalk v Hive v Beebad cage match to the death. As a matter of fact, that sounds like my last sales meeting.

3. Stingtalk v Hive v Beebad bake sale. Loser gets a pie in the face

4. Halo 3 match between GTKyle, BOR, Beebad, and Ramblinwreck. Loser has to accept that they suck at Halo 3

5. I'm out of ideas.

Adamm, I think what you are doing with your website is wonderful and is a great intellectual contrast to other D-1 football talent. However, noone who has been paying attention to Tech football over the past 6 years has much respect for Beebad or his cronies. I bet if you researched his posts you might even find where he has dissed you. Rest assured he is trying to manipulate you now. Treat him as if he were exactly what he is, a closet dawg fan trying to stir up a bunch of crap over here OR another arrogant EE.

Talk about spreading untruths - you have no idea what you are talking about. I've never seen a post on bbuzzoff putting Adamm down. And, you giving that impression is outrageous.

Matter-of-fact, the only player I've ever seen on bbuzzoff that has been talked negatively about is Reggie Ball and I seen that here and on the Hive!

Get your facts straight and until you know individuals personally, my suggestion is you say nothing at all.:rolleyes:
 
I Wrecken, I don't know if Beebad has talked badly about Adamm Oliver, and I don't think Ramblinwise knows either. But I will say the probability of it is probably pretty high which is what ramblinwise was refering to.
