High Points in Mercer History

It was before my time, but Mercer had chapel on Wednesdays and no classes. It gave Tuesdays and Wednesdays for extra partying which got it on Playboy's list.

If I'm ever president of a university, one of the first initiatives will be to make all classes 90 minutes and only have class 4 days / week with every Friday off.

I know these folks. Good people. Worst thing I can say about them is they are UGA grads (at least, the founder was).

The day their football program became too big for Russell uniforms
 
Having enough money in the athletic budget to rent Bibb County school buses so players didn't have to drive themselves to games

Actually my daughter, now in her 4th year, has managed to never have had a class on Friday.
