How did we miss on Petrino?

Arkansas just ran off a very good coach for very dumb, off the field reasons. They need to bring in someone that will win immediately. Petrino can do this. Then, when he's coaching at <insert name of school he always wanted to coach at here>, the administration and insane fan base can blame him for leaving, rather then looking at themselves for creating their own mess. It's win-win. I think he officially took Nick Saban's spot as #1 scumbag though. Saban may need to kill some kittens or send bad checks to orphanages to get his rightful place back.

As for rooting for UGA over Arkansas, I can't buy that. If UGA was playing the Taliban, I'd root for the Taliban. If UGA was Bruce Willis's team in Armegeddon, I'd root for the comet.

If you think we get negative press from the AJC now, can you just imagine what they would have to say if we chose Petrino? Didn't DRad say something about bringing the Tech fan base together and wanting a coach who could interact in a positive way with the media and the community? Oh, the media would have a field day if Petrino stayed in Atlanta and went to Tech. Plus, even if he came and was successful, he would have left in a couple of years (or sooner) after telling everyone how Tech was his "dream job" and hopes to stay forever. Good riddance to him. He is a quitter and no role model for young men.:ugh:

So when is the game. I got my turban and comet tail and I am ready to go.
