How I know HD doesn't know or care about anything ACC related...

That's pretty sad. It seems like there SHOULD be some writer ESPN can get who actually cares about ACC out there. The culprit is ESPN, we shouldn't blame HD too much.
 
Why do people obsess about whether HD "truely cares" about the ACC? Does it really matter? Shes there to provide links, do some interviews and then cause drama by making random rankings. Thats it. She could be a die hard SEC fan, or a die hard womans synchronized swimming fan for all I care.

I'm really afraid that this gal is just in the loop for pork and party purposes. ESPN and their lot are rotten people in my book. I can live w/o them starting TODAY.

This doesn't necessarily apply in this case, but I generally prefer analysts who didn't play to those who have.

There are exceptions both ways of course, former players who really work to be good journalists, and total hacks the other way.
 
It isn't as much that she doesn't care about the ACC, it's just that she probably doesn't put as much effort into the blog. I mean the Big East guy wrote more than she did and he had less to work with. I mean I don't care if you hate the ACC but at least be creative and make up some stuff to love about it.

I do not understand why a very few people slam HD. She is tasked with writing something every day, year round about the same topic. It is supposed to be an informal, chat room, style...which many do not understand.
She almost always says positive things about Georgia Tech.
We actually get coverage on a national platform...something we whine like babies about not getting enough of with our own AJC in years past (which has also changed).

I guess it is just easier to complain.

:laugher: Come off it. We've been over this: The fact that she sometimes praises us doesn't mean that people can't poke fun at her. It's not black and white. Mark Bradley is a gigantic tool, but he has written positive things about us before. Heather writes positive things about us sometimes but can also be a really bad writer, sometimes appearing clueless.

Nobody is coming around to check and see whether we're heaping praise on the people that write about us kindly. It doesn't help or hurt any more than calling Terence Moore a douche nozzle does. But it's still fun.
