Really should be 3 WRs since he switched once in the pros.

Very interesting that the only position where the recruiting was "consistent" was WR. Probably because we did recruit for big, strong guys at those positions which translate to the NFL but it is in a scheme where 2 of those 3 didn't do much of anything while here.

You mean we had a center drafted 24 years ago? Wow. Did not remember that. I would have guessed the last one was Bill Curry. He was a 20th round pick. Yeah, they had 20 rounds back then.

Who was our center during the Gailey era? Specifically, the guy who played during the Boise Bowl against Tulsa. I have never seen a center blow up the center of a DL like that.

I believe Hugh Reilly was the center on the 2003-04 team.

I believe he was drafted as a TE. Also consistent is kind of a stretch considering Danny Hall recruited one of the two WR who were drafted.

More ouch. Although it is some solace that we have as many nattys as the gaggers during this time span.
 
I’m giving him credit for bringing Allen in but you are right he wasn’t recruited the traditional way.
