For 46 years now and I have NEVER seen our football program in this bad of shape and that includes the Lewis years. Except for three coaches, imo, our coaching staff is just horrendous. This institute and these student athletes deserve better. If our AD is happy with what he is seyeing, then he needs to go before the head coach is terminated.

AD has to go too. I understand our womens sports are in a bit of a renaissance, but who the hell cares? The two most important mens sports are complete garbage. AD is clueless and has made nothing but poor decisions IMHO. He and Collins go together.

We are gonna take our lumps this season. Save some money by not firing him and move on in the off-season. It’ll be OK. We are more attractive now than we were when we hired Collins. It sucks that we decided to get away from something that was working, unique, and watchable in the pursuit of being just like everyone else.

I can agree with most of what you’re saying Crew, but to wait until the off season is just not acceptable in my opinion. If he stays I think our SA’s quit on him.

That’s fine. They may very well do that. The $$$ saved will be worth it in the long run. In the days of NIL and infinite transfers I don’t really have much care or worry about players quitting.

Based on the effort on the field so far this season, they've already given up on him. I haven't seen as embarrassing a performance in terms of man on man since our players were getting suplexed in Athens.

I agree. And the fans. And future recruits. How much does it cost to preserve hope?

I know I will keep watching (or least checking the score on Saturdays, as I resorted to for a lot of the latter half of last year), but I'm really glad my emotional investment isn't what it used to be. Games like today are a bummer, but I mostly just laugh and shake my head. I can't really muster anger anymore.
