I have some more coaching news

Yeah I'm not sure what we're expecting out of a position coach's role. Coleman is coaching his former position and probably knows what he's talking about as far as technique so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. The rest is recruiting and I'm hoping it's a huge pickup on that front. We need talent especially on the edge if the past ten years and handful of DC's have told us anything. A good pass rush hides a lot of deficiencies elsewhere
And a good pass rush turns a good secondary into a shutdown defense.

Woody, Wood and Sisk headed to Georgia State. Will CPJ follow in a year?

Edit: Dang, Woody is going to be linebackers coach. From a P5 DC to a position coach at Ga State.

Woody went from DC to coaching inside linebackers. Sometimes you have to take a step or two back before you can more forward again I suppose.

I was about to start a thread, "Woody Wood Sisk."

Kinda hate it for Woody. Left DC at App state to become DC at a much bigger program, and now he's a position coach at Georgia State. :chad:

I wonder where Woody would be if he stayed put at App St.?
