Erk, PJ and other great PJ type Spread Option Coaches are long gone at GSU - but then again, so are GSU's victories, 6 FCS Nat. Championships ' the most playoff games in FCS, GSU's averaging of 38 ppg, 380 ground yards, 120 passing on 8-12 attempts

Let's hope that PJ can bring GT back and shoot for the Playoffs in the next 3 years.

What in da f are you talking about bro?? Anti GT? It’s not meant to be anti anyone but if you wanna take it anti something it’s anti GSU. I don’t compare my schools program to a community college.

I was thinking about how well Alcorn State performed by keeping pressure off their QB on pass plays. I don't know who the offensive line coach is at Alcorn State, but if I was Paul Johnson, I'd call him Monday morning and ask him for pointers.

We were doing what worked. Alcorn was going nowhere. We got plenty of pressure on the QB, just lost contain several times on his scrambles

And for that matter, this is true of nearly every other offense, too. Defenses are ahead of offenses in September. Offenses require much more synchronization and finesse. Lines have to gel more than most fans realize. This is masked by the fact that most major programs begin with an FCS or other easy game, so they score a lot of points anyway. But complex offenses of every kind need a few games.

normally I'd agree but this one's a total waste of time. There are a few other clowns here who can be a pain in the ass but are at least intelligent with a good sense of humor at the end of the day. And are Tech fans at heart, not fans of some FCS school.
