I'm Bananas 4 Monken

1) Monken wasn’t here in 2017-2018.
2) If being a single play away from a division title in 2018 is something we would be disappointed with, then sign my ass up.
3) Wake runs a lot of option, and Monken has said he is not married to the 3O that we had under CPJ.

Question; why is Service Academy ball seen as the Only Way Out by you PJ guys? Inquiring minds, etc.

Humor me for a minute…

Name another coach with as impressive a winning pedigree that we could possibly get.

If you find one, I’m in. Hell, I won’t even include the fact that Monken has already coached at GT and has recruiting connections in Ga from multiple stops.

Why the need for service academy ball?

I don't miss 30 QB keepers every game. We don't need a gimmick offense. We just need competence.

There are plenty of non TO coaches who won't go false start-delay of game out of a timeout.
Which is why I asked you to name one with a winning pedigree that matches Monken’s. Stop with the strawmen and service academy digs.

I'd have some reservations about going back to the option, but Monken has been successful enough that I feel like he'd at least warrant an interview.

I highly doubt we will end up going that route, but if we do, I think we'd be smart to try to hold on to guys like Patrick Suddes and others involved in the recruiting coordination. Defections are inevitable with a coaching change, but we really need to keep recruiting at a top 30-35 level.
