Injury Update?

We sold our souls for last season and now it's payback. Godalmighty.

So Searcy is out for the season now? I hadn't heard that. Poop.

I said "probable" for Skov and "questionable" for Allen. That means Skov will likely play and Allen is 50/50. Both will be playing hurt Saturday if they are a go.

I would be fine with letting Marcus Marshall get the majority of carries at B-back.....he's young and inexperienced, but his future is bright. He actually tries to make a play each time he has the ball (a la Dwyer).

Apparently T. Marshall practiced today, so there's that.

Yes....sore shoulder but he is going to play Saturday.

Marcus Allen (ankle) and Patrick Skov (shoulder) are going to play also.

None are 100%....shame we cannot give them rest this weekend.

It does not look good for Gamble....and of course we will not see Summers or Searcy anytime soon.

Thank goodness we are playing the baby blue team this weekend. Any other team and I'd be more worried about injuries.

Are you talking about the same team that we never stopped last year and returns 10 of their 11 starters? We are not in the best shape for a scoring battle and UNC puts up 40+ points per game regularly.

I am not confident in any game until I see our offense start to get some rhythm back. The bright side is that as bad as we have been offensively, we still have been within two plays of winning each game. In reality, special teams cost us the Duke game.

This is true but a newly introduced QB controversy could play into our favor this week. Thanks, 6-pack!

I was about to say, STs needs to upgrade from being a dumpster fire as well. That will help. O has been pretty frustrating and D has not gotten off to great starts (although they have been really good Qtrs 2-4). But when O and D are not clicking on all cylinders it's hard to win when STs can't get out of their own way, on top of everything.

Wait, you don't want 30 carries for "run straight ahead with my eyes and shoulders pointed towards the ground" SKOV??!

Meh, Synjyn Days did the same thing for the majority of his career. I had just about given up on him being a factor until he came out of nowhere about halfway through last year.

Errin Joe and Freddie Burden held out of practice, per AJC. Errin Joe had to leave the game on Saturday and did not return.
