Meh, Synjyn Days did the same thing for the majority of his career. I had just about given up on him being a factor until he came out of nowhere about halfway through last year.
A big part of the success of Synjyn and Zach were that they had each other. One was a 4-8 yard guarantee and one was a flight risk. We always had fresh legs at BB, and defenses had to keep track of who was back there. Both ran with the intelligence that only comes from a lot of experience. Skov and Marshall have nearly none of that experience.
We also have to remember that those gut runs last year often went behind our right guard, now getting PT for the Patriots.
