Insider Makes Prediction For 4-Star Transfer QB Nick Starkelto Georgia Tech

He should have no trouble getting a waiver. Going to school with Aggies is traumatic.

It’s one of the first day images to pop up when you search Bobby Dodd stadium view on Getty Images. When you start typing Bobby Dodd stadium you get 2 autocomplete options. Bobby Dodd stadium, whose entire first page is filled with images of players, and Bobby Dodd Stadium View, where you have a couple of night images which likely wouldn’t look good on that page, and the next few day images, including this one, are all of the UGA game.

Yet another entry in “not everything is a conspiracy”.

I have noticed a similar issue with a lot of high school recruits. When GT offers, most high schoolers will tweet out something like "Blessed to receive an offer from Georgia Tech" and they'll upload 3-4 random GT football images. The problem is that a lot of the BDS panoramic shots show the stadium covered in red or orange, which I assume they pull from Google images. It might be worth supplying them with better looking photos/graphics to avoid the bad optics.

It’s a lot easier to whine about how journalists are lazy as others have done in response to my post outlining the stock footage issue here.

I think what you’re suggesting is actually a good idea. I don’t know how stock footage agencies and their search algorithms work, but it is something the AA should look into. It may be a good idea for them to supply a bunch of images to the different stock footage agencies, or commission photographers to take photos which are then supplied to the agencies. Further, if there are certain photos which reoccur time and again it may be a good idea to reach out to the photographer in question and buy out their photos and have them removed from those stock footage agencies.

It’s a real problem, that needs a real solution.

I suspect once different newspapers and online news sites start putting better photos alongside GT articles, the Google Images search algorithms will also adjust to reflect this.

Starkel is really going to be able to hold out for some cash now.
