Interview process a farce.....

I find it highly doubtful that Tenuta had ZERO recruiting responsibilities when so many good players have come to play for him.

yeah I don't know why people keep saying that. Everytime a player was on campus JT would recruit him. JT just didn't go out to the houses often.

BUT NOR DID CCG. Travel was mostly up to the asst coaches not name Bond, Tenuta or Gailey.

Muschamp's Defense vs. UGA

2003 = 10
2004 = 45
2006 = 37
2007 = 46

Tenuta's Deffense (Last 4 Meetings)

2004 = 19
2005 = 14
2006 = 15
2007 = 31

I know that people are going to bring up turnovers as an issue when looking at Muschamp's stats. AU turned the ball over 4 times each game the last two meetings with UGA. GT turned the ball over 3 times in each of the past 2 meetings. Turnovers do not account for the difference.

Muschamp's defense at Auburn also has surrendered more yards per play (6.8) to UGA than any other defense that has played them over that period including the scrub out conference teams that they play.

Not all turnovers are created equal. TB's long throw for an interception was about the equivalent of a punt, while a year ago Cox threw a pick six and another throw that gave UGA a 20 yard field for a TD. In fact, Cox had more interceptions that completions in the first half of that game. Not sure any defense could do well with that many turnovers in that short of a time. I couldn't catch this year's game, but Cox again threw 4 interceptions against UGA. Auburn's total yards on offense for each game was 171 and 216. By comparison, GT had 315 total yards against UGA this year.

Kyle, I think I'm on your side. It's big business, let the folks we hired to do the business actually do it.

Yes we saw Stoops, he is proven,if you can get him i say go for it. Have you seen Orgeron, have you seen Bunting,have you seen Roof, have you seen DAVIE.

Therein lies the problem AJ, there's always a counter point on coaching personality. Joe Pa is pretty darn stoic, and Bobby Bowden is pretty darn outspoken, but they have the same number of wins and longevity.

The true answer is that nobody knows how a team will do under a new coach, because all of the intangible things that go into a season. One of these years UGA is going to have a bad year, and its not going to be because Richt is a dummy....its going to be because teams have bad years.
