Is Sims gone?

It’s heartbreaking to see some of these comments. He’s still human, he has parents and he’s a young man that has given GT all that he can. He’s just simply not healthy enough to go out there and be Jeff Sims, if he could, he would!

Could he go out there and be better than Gibson is the question. Not if he’s 100%.

What makes me mad is not a player, it's the coach with 11 million dollars in the bank who created this ridiculous mess, raising everybody's hopes and leading to disillusioned players and fans, and the Athletic Director who watched this every day and liked it. That's why we need to start from scratch. We don't need to try another long shot at being great, we need to take some solid and achievable steps towards becoming mediocre. It's not going to be easy to fix this mess. I hope the new AD and President Cabrera can do it.

If he raised your hopes, that is all - ALL - on you. He never raised my hopes even a little bit, even once. He lowered my hopes the day he was hired. And they just kept going down.
 
If cabrera is as good as his word,then we'll get a proven P5 coach.
(his speech was excellent and promising)
If he isn't then we won't get that.

That coach seriously screwed us over by kowtowing to Sims in fear of actually bringing in some competition. Sims is the ultimate manifestation of the Geoff cancer that runs throughout the program.

Delusional to think that any "proven" P5 coach would want our job at the moment. Unless "proven" to you actually means "had brief success at one point and is now damaged goods." A la BOB, Briles, etc.
 
Agreed that we need just need a normal coach who can take us from dumpster fire status to mediocre. Then we can get to average then above average. It’s called hard work and building a program of hard work. What we’ve seen the last 4 years is the opposite of that so it’s no surprise that his so called star recruits have built a program now known as soft and easy wins. UGA will use our game as a spring practice to see which of Beck, Vandagrif, and Stockton shows out. It’s just sad that they have 4 QB’s we would drool over and we’ll be starting Gibson.
