Is There a Coach Out There Who Gives a öööö?

After Collins gets the boot, is there a single quality coach on the market who cares enough about Tech to pursue a job here? What’s the selling point to a coach on an upward trajectory? Location?

I feel like Collins has completely sunk this program.

It's never as good or as bad as it seems - CPJ

This is a historically bad period, but it is not the end. We went through a similar period with B*** C**** and won a national title four years later with Bobby Ross.

We have a pretty decent roster and bad coaching can be replaced quickly once this contract makes it cheaper. Better days are ahead. Enjoy the outdoors this fall and I'll see you in 2023.

Unfortunately, you're right. Tech will have to decide to pay a great coach enough money to want to be here or drop sports. Continuing like this is not doing anybody the least bit of good.

We won't "drop" sports , but will drop to D-2 type level. Can't keep up with $$$ culture these days.

We would have to pay a fortune to recruit great coach to take over this mess. We need a hungry coach to come in and rebuild the program from the ground up. If he is any good some program will steal him away from us; but at least we'll have a foundation that might make luring a great coach possible. Deion should at least get talked to, his charisma will draw players in; we need a guy with CGC type energy but with football sense.

The other 'option' is to go back to the 'option' which too many people hate.

Can Deion coach? We don't need another hype man, and I dunno if he brings in enough NIL money alone. Perhaps he can unite atlanta around tech, but I'd rather bring him in as a DC if that's what we want him for.

J. Chadwell will be given an opportunity somewhere. Might as well be here. Gotta out scheme the big $ boys we play against. Can't run the same öööö they do and expect to win. We have to out X's and O's their Jimmies and Joes. Been that way for 20+ years. Started that way with Fridge.
