He isn't coming as a DC. He won the SWAC last season in his second year after taking over a 4-8 program. Obviously the SWAC isn't P5 or even FBS; but it looks like he can coach.

He's proven he can recruit, looks like he can build a good program that players and coaches want to be at, knows how to be the CEO of a modern college program.

It's a very common refrain that cpj tanked because either he couldn't adapt his offense to get newer recruits or couldn't adapt it to new rules. I wasn't accusing you of necessarily holding that view, but it's common enough and contradictory to the position that his proteges will never be better when they are the ones adapting.

I feel like Collins has completely sunk this program.

Why should they "care about Tech?" Who really "cares" about their current employer?

100% and until we toss TStan...it won't matter. The guy needs to go period, actually both of them do.

I'm only 45 yrs old but was at gms growing up and we are in fact less competitive with He than we were with Bill Lewis. It may be 5-10 yrs before we're close to relevant and will have to be so without our dumbass AD
