Not entirley wrong, but gibbs wasn't the top of his class and we are still in a p5 conference. That kid chose jackson st.Remember Gibbs?

I would accept the risk. Our next coach will most likely be inexperienced. I doubt we could find anyone with "Prime Time's" name recognition. High School students know all about him and I doubt there would be many doors he couldn't open. He's only starting his third year as HC. That's a risky move.
Not Art, but Kendal Briles should be on the list.Art briles anyone??
There are exactly zero coaches who would take the job that wouldn’t be risky moves. He's only starting his third year as HC. That's a risky move.
Will he bring his dad as the OC?Not Art, but Kendal Briles should be on the list.
Getting a little ahead of ourselves here, let's start with the basics - does Deion know how timeouts work? Can Deion coach? We don't need another hype man, and I dunno if he brings in enough NIL money alone. Perhaps he can unite atlanta around tech, but I'd rather bring him in as a DC if that's what we want him for.
A significant portion of the fanbase including on this site is absolutely "option man bad". They hate it. Your argument of CPJ was the best and we would never be as good with someone from his. oaching tree is a view held by very few, and is also wrong. The argument isn't "option man bad" it's actually the opposite. CPJ was the best at the flexbone offense, anyone we get from his coaching tree would only be a downgrade from results that were good, not great, but trending downwards. We swung for the fences on a high upside, unproven hire on the basis that he'd turnover the roster so, if he failed, we'd at least setup the next coach for success. We didn't anticipate the extent to which he would fail, he hasn't recruited nearly as well as expected, and NIL/free transfer has ruined the roster turnover logic kind of like the proliferation of spread offenses and away from power football post 2008 negated the logic that CPJ wouldn't have to recruit directly against the powerhouses for the same skillsets.
Ken N is on the decline, don't want him.Jeff Monken or Ken Niumatalolo. If we could land either of them, I'd get season tickets ... and I live on the west coast.
Why go back to the triple option ?Jeff Monken or Ken Niumatalolo. If we could land either of them, I'd get season tickets ... and I live on the west coast.
That would be awesomeBill O'Brien
He has a 13-4 record. The previous 2 coaches had 6-9 and 9-20 records. Can Deion coach? We don't need another hype man, and I dunno if he brings in enough NIL money alone. Perhaps he can unite atlanta around tech, but I'd rather bring him in as a DC if that's what we want him for.

Exactly, Chadwell is our best hope to land a good X’s and O’s coach. No other P5 school is likely to give him a shot because of his offense. We can at least maybe get back to 6-7 win seasons with him.J. Chadwell will be given an opportunity somewhere. Might as well be here. Gotta out scheme the big $ boys we play against. Can't run the same öööö they do and expect to win. We have to out X's and O's their Jimmies and Joes. Been that way for 20+ years. Started that way with Fridge.
Because we can’t afford top talent (NIL) to compete, and we can get a badass coach that nobody else wants (Chadwell)Why go back to the triple option ?
No way...He wanted to be far away from Tech last time he was here. When the O'Leary fiasco went down he said something to the effect of being "stuck in Atlanta with Tech"Bill O'Brien
Drew Cronic?! WTFWillie Fritz, John Grass, Drew Cronic, Jamey Chadwell, Shawn Clark. These are the types of guys I would be looking at if we're going to eat a buyout and hire a coach that can win on a budget.
