CPJ isn't GT, and shouldn't be. But he has a good point - the "identity" of GT football over the past decade is very different than the one most of these guys were a part of, so I understand the feeling of wanting to "go back to the glory days" even though the glory days (talking post-Dodd here) were just about as successful (or a bit less so) than the recent ones.But CPJ ISN'T Georgia Tech. Never was.
It is what it is, though. Ultimately Stansbury will make the decision he thinks is best and we'll have to live with it. If the new coach can run a clean program, graduate players, represent Tech well, and win games, then I'll be happy regardless of how he does it.
