He played great this year. Had tons of tackles and had plenty of big plays.

Was a hard hitting Safety that we will miss.

Grohs scheme was too complex to run instinctively without the necessary practice time.

Roofs scheme let's them play more quickly, simply and aggressively. In exchange we sometimes give up some soft yards. But rarely homeruns

Well admittedly I think I judged him unfairly because his first three years he was poorly coached by Groh. Roof changed his level of play considerably.

Spot on analysis. CTR had a direct bearing on IJ's improved play.
