That just means that God needed me to continue to be at Jackson State."

We're not the perfect fit but if he can get over the hurdles placed by the school, we could be a good fit. Low expectations and being in Atlanta should make it tempting. Even if he doesn't retire from Tech, if he has success and moves on, it would be a win for both parties. He gets to build his resume and gets us back on the map.

Worst case he loses, we're looking for a new coach in a couple of years but now we are known to recruits across the country who haven't thought about us in the last 14 years.
 
I wouldn't mind him using us as a stepping stone to another program. I would tell him you help us and we will help you. Winning here and him leaving is ok with me because it means we start to right the ship. Our success will mean his success. Lets do this!!!

I’m a HBCU alum, and what he is doing is bigger than football. Y’all can sit on your high horses and pretend to be better, but at the end of the day he’s not leaving JSU for Tech. If he ever leaves JSU it would be for FSU.

just because Jackson is small & yall don’t know the history & tradition of JSU & the SWAC means it’s insignificant.

I’m a sidewalk Tech fan because I’m from Atlanta & most of the Tech folks I’ve came across are completely different from the deranged SEC & UGA fans. Some of y’all sound no different than them.

So he’s HBCU loyal and that’s righteous, but not when it applies to Tech and only FSU? Sounds like your virtue signaling has a ceiling.

Not sure how you could read his own description of his other interviews, his intent to go elsewhere and think others talking about it as a possibility are being SEC-like and disrespectful. Don't take it personally, speculation is based on what he appears to be shooting for, not a knock against JSU.

I'm not sure how you took what I said to be disrespectful. I simply quoted what he was quoted as saying in an interview that he was leaving but it didn't work out.

Comparing me to a dwag fan is much more disrespectful than anything I said.

Doesn't look like FSU is opening up anytime soon. I don't know - I think he'd leave for the right opportunity even if it's not FSU. He's not called Prime Time because he likes being in the background and sorry but as good as Jax State can ever be, they'll never get him into Prime Time.

If he succeeds at a place like GT, he'll get loads more attention than anything he could ever do at JSU and Deion is nothing if not driven. If he has any sort of Natty or NFL-Super Bowl HC aspirations, he'll bail on JSU the moment a good opportunity arises. He certainly will leave - he's interviewed for 3 P5 jobs already lol
