Hey, I'm not saying the guy was a quarterback you want to build a franchise on. However, I think to say that there was clearly no other choice than Reggie during Calvin's junior year is just wrong. Maybe if he hadn't gotten injured(or whatever it was that happened) and completely blown the season starting at the Clemson game you could make that argument, but he did, and it's tough for me to believe that Taylor couldn't have done a better job given the way he performed at the Gator Bowl(yes, I realize WVU's passing defense sucks, but go look up how Duke's and UNC's passing Ds were that year and check Reggie's stats for those games). You might not agree he could've done a better job, but you have to admit that it is at least open for debate.

I'm not saying TB was a bad kid or a terrible QB, I'm simply saying he was too scatter armed to predict much no matter who his receivers were. Did they drop passes? Sure. But so did Reggie's. TB did about what he's able to do IMO given his level of experience, and possibly his coaching.

We've all had a dream we gave up for more important life choices and it may be what he did here.

That would be funny as hell if Reggie was followed around campus by 20-30 fans who constantly booed him. That would make a funny commercial for something.

He wakes up in his dorm room, opens the door and there are 30 people in the hallway that start booing him. Walks to the shower, the entourage follows him booing in unison. He walks across campus, the congregation of booers follow him, booing the entire time. He walks to class they sit outside booing him.
 
We should find the Teletubbies forums and BOOOO on them.
