Jaybo Shaw

Is this insider info or have you read this some where? If this is true this is great news!

Sweet!!! Eases the loss of Renfree, now doesn't it? In fact, Shaw's a much better fit for PJ's system.

Now, lets just hold onto Mr. Jackson.:fingersx:

As exciting as the news on Jaybo is, I think it would be a huge statement for Paul if he is able to hold onto Chris. Would be a very good sign in my opinion, and would show that he is really able to sell his system to the recruits...

I think we should be able to save him. Chris graduates from high school next week and already has everything set up to start at Georgia Tech at the beginning of January...dorm room and everything! It would be a huge scramble to change his commitment.

Plus...Alabama has 6 WR's committed....we have one more in Melton.

I have to think when he sees the game film of how he will be used...plus hangs out with Claytor, Donley, Nesbitt, Dwyer, Jones, etc....he will feel like family.

I am thinking positive on this one.

you have got to kidding me. (most of the post on this thread) very uninspiring recruit to say the least. Not that I put put much weight into what rivals or scouts has to say about high schoolers but this kid is two stars, slow, small and has moderate quckness at best. why all the hoopla??

Getting Shaw committment would be very welcome good news. Given some time I believe PJ is going to be bringing us plenty good news. But this transition period is kinda tough. Regarding Jackson, I truly hope he stays in that if PJ wants him, and he apparently does, he will be used in his system. Sabon is such a good salesman, not necessarily that good a coach, but a good salesman. He wins because he brings in a lot of talent, not because of good coaching. Hopefully, Chris can see thru that slick salesmanship and pick the better school and better situation for him.

bebe will not be sticking around this mess nor will Peak. Nesbitt won't have the grades to play...that's no secrect around the locker room and that's why they won't be wasting any minutes on him on the blue turf. Two more key players trying to make a deal to get out of town as well.

Glass half empty?

He's got measurables like Joe Hamilton, similar performance in high school, and knows how to run the option.

Any tech player who quits because Gailey got fired is a loser, especially if they're a receiver when our receiving corps this year probably cost Chan his job.

I can't argue with that

Check this guy out. If you've been watching the I-AA playoffs I'm sure you have seen him. He also led his team to an upset of Michigan the first week of the season. His measurables are very close to Jaybo's

Where is this information on Nesbitt coming from? From a reliable source or just heresay? If true, wouldn't he still have an opportunity to get his grades in order to be able to play in the fall? This one really concerns me if true. Josh would likely be the key to our offense this fall given the change in offensive scheme.

Why would you call the program "this mess" when the coach has been on the job less than a week? Posts like this do no good for anybody. Couldn't you just wait and let things play out?

Did you watch his videos? He might be a better passer than we have on the Flats right now.

I know you don't care what the recruiting services say but Rivals rates Shaw the #8 dual threat quarterback and 3 stars.
