Wreckingball, anyone to come on here with your attitude and choice of words, it suggests to me that you are a Dawg. Go away or if you really are a fan, then what the heck does your negative b.s. do for our program right now?
He's not a dog, he's just a fuddy duddy who wants to complain because we're moving away from an outdated pro style offense that doesn't achieve results. That said, I don't think anyone's postcount directly correlates to their relevance in a conversation.
The thing that impresses me about Jaybo isn't necessarily his stats, it's that PJ landed him after a whopping
day of recruiting, and he was already committed to another school. And that we seriously need Nesbitt-backup for next year, and it's the first thing we got.
Somehow I doubt Jaybo Shaw is the 2nd coming of Hamilton, nor do I think landing him will have a huge impact 4 years from now, since I fully expect PJ to land even
better dual threat QB recruits in the future. But seeing how PJ swept in, identified a need, and landed a dude who can clearly, solidly, fill that need even as a freshman, is a very, very positive sign.
Regarding existing players leaving, if a Tech player, particularly a wide receiver, is going to leave due to a coaching change he needs to take a hard long look at how many plays
he failed to make last year for Chan, that may have been somewhat responsible for the change.
At 8 or 9 wins, or at a win over UGA, Chan doesn't get fired.
