I don’t wanna see us go back to the option but if we were going to I think we’d go to him
 
All you “no’s” are crazy. He is a great football coach. He has stated that he is not married to the spread option. He is an incredible COACH! He could adapt and put a product on the field that everyone could be proud of.

Dude. you're talking about replacing a 1-2 coach with a 1-2 coach who runs an offense that already proved it runs your talent off.

I loved Paul Johnson but you'd have to be a moron to not realize that it hurts your talent level in a program. The game announcers on ABC today were giving Collins hell all game but even they acknowledged that "everyone in the nation knew it was going to be a multi-year job to rebuild that roster". Also, the reason Johnson's offense worked was due to...Paul Johnson. None of his proteges have his ability to call plays like he does.

Going back to "the bone" would put the final nail in the program's coffin.

All I can think of as I shake my head is the audacity of Geoff Collins at demeaning Paul Johnson’s accomplishments as our Head Football Coach. He actually thought good marketing would provide better results on the field than great Coaching.

Remember the first spring game under Gef? We lined up in the flexbone and then shifted out of it. What a joke.

If CPJ were still here and 100% mailing it in, the results would still probably be better than what we’re trotting out there now.

Over their past four games against Power 5 opposition, Collins’ Jackets have been outscored 183-10. After three full seasons under Collins, Tech still doesn’t do anything well. Whatever he’s doing, it’s not working. It’s not working to the extent you can’t imagine it ever working. Even the two-plus years of Bill Lewis weren’t this bad. IMHO Paul Johnson’s Tech teams always had Paul Johnson’s offense, we had hope! I hope they go after Jamey Chadwell or Jeff Monken!
