JEFF MONKEN

You conveniently forgot to mention that we had something like 8 or 9 multi-year NFL players on those 2008 and 2009 teams. Then from the last, what...6 or 7 seasons under Paul (ie...kids he recruited) we had a guard drafted, a punter. and a kicker? THAT would be why. Because the talent level does go down.

And Paul was the genius of the offense. The others don't have his skill at calling plays.

We've won 4 national championships at GT...one was during my time as a fan in 1990. We weren't running the "bone" then. How many NC's did we win running the flexbone?
Darren Waller and DeAndre Smelter say hello

The PJ Fan Club conveniently forgets the home loss debacle to MTSU and the blowouts against Clemson and the mutts in the last couple of years as well as the team literally quitting in the We Suck Detroit Bowl.

Collins must go ASAP but no more option BS, no-defense coaches please.
A loss to MTSU? That's what you got?

This clown lost to The Citadel and y'all still defended him. Miss me with this öööö. Most of us knew from that day forward we got stuck with trash.

Hell, we lost 4 of the last 5 games to Duke as well.

I loved Paul Johnson but the end of his career at Tech was not the same as the beginning when we had a boatload of future NFL talent.

He was a lousy recruiter and his "IIWII" attitude is a ööööing loser's attitude. Of course, the guy never played a down of organized football in his life so how the hell would he know anything other than that stupid shoulder-shrugging loser's mentality of "IIWII"? öööö him - I'm still glad his ass his gone.

No one is defending him, you ööööing numbskull. I'm literally asking for him to be fired. öööö the TO and öööö you.

The duke point has been discussed ad nauseam. This isn't the same 2 win duke as normal. Duke was actually good those years (even if that's bizarre). Remember how people here at the time were saying cutcliffe was building a more sustainable program than cpj and that we should hire him?

FWIW, I wish we hadn't fired Chan and Tenuta.

Probably shouldn't have fired Chan; but Tenuta was similar to Brent Key in that he was great at "coaching" five star athletes that someone else recruited. Once Tenuta was on his own he flopped, like CBK.

The loss to mtsu was abnormal. Losing to teams like citadel is the new normal. Army has had double digits seasons under monken. I don't think we'd have beaten army any year that collins was here.
MTSU also stole our defensive signals

Interesting that we bring up MTSU. Are people really comparing losing to an 8-win team with an NFL RB to losing to below average FCS teams and getting shut out 3 of our last 4 games?

Do any of you know how many times Paul Johnson got shut out in 11 years?
