“In all my years of calling games, I’ve never seen this before: a quarterback who continually turns the ball over over two games.”

I guess he never called a GT game.

I'm guessing there was a psychological break in Sims once Clown got fired and he is the biggest mental case in football now.....but balls out in practice and is a workout warrior

He was the same way at Tech. He’s easy to confuse and can’t adapt to the situation. Plus he completely telegraphs his throws.

I will be pissed if JS is allowed to come back to GT and get his degree.

Here is his season ending injury after a routine tackle.

GO JACKETS!!

Watch out transfer portal … here comes Jeff Sims. Will he refuse to play again for Nebraska?

Now his ankle hurts and the backup is in. Time to shut it down and prep for the combine.
Sims doesn't need to prepare for the combine - he's already being evaluated.

There is a shortage of qualified combine operators in Nebraska and most of the farms around Lincoln will provide on-the-job training.
Combines are pretty easy to work once you get the hang of it. So, no, I think he's probably pretty close to taking that next big step.

First half blurb said Sims is leader in the clubhouse for “most turnovers of all active QB’s.” What an honor.

I don't think the farmers will appreciate walking their fields after harvest and stepping on nothing but corn that didn't make it in the collector.
