Sims has always looked to me like he is throwing right at the receiver, not where the receiver has a chance to make an athletic catch and the defender has limited opportunity to intercept. This has to be super depressing to the wide outs and the fans. Does he even see two deep coverage?

Sims obviously has the physical talents to be an elite quarterback, and is a hard worker. You don't get arms like that without hard work or steroids. I think he might just lack the innate mental talents. The eyes, the anticipation, the quick decision making. We can't observe those things, just their effects. I'm not sure it's fair of the people who say he won't take coaching--he may just not have what's needed mentally. It's like golf to an extent, you can't look and someone and say, "wow, they'd be a great golfer". Justin Thomas was 5'10 but he had it.

That said, Sims is already playing football at an elite level and making lots of NIL money, so it's not like the guy's a failure. He's just not meeting people's extremely high expectations for him.

(I don't like his quitterism and how he did GT, but that is beside the point of my post.)

Colorado’s 2-way Corner going to have a HOF game if Sims stares down receivers he is covering. May get inducted at halftime.

Sims picked us over FSU. I wonder if he would have been the same under Norvell or been up coached. Also, would Yates have been our starting QB for those years. He was pretty fiery competitor. Although he wasn't a Weinke sized athlete.

Sims was pushed out of his commitment by Norvell. Norvell wanted and got Rodemaker. Sims was cut loose.

2 fumbles snaps that hit him right in the hands. In the first half…some things never change
