Scott Kennedy is drooling over this guy. South Carolina wanted him as did Purdue. His best qualities are toughness and raw athleticism. And, as has been pointed out, his is very strong and very fast and takes delight in delivering punishment whether he is on offense or defense.
Kennedy has him as the #96 safety in the country.
He's going to be a good addition to our program and think he would make an ideal A back not unlike Marcus Wright. We are going to have some serious burners back there.
Its starting to dawn on me that because our line blocking development is a little behind that there is a big peice of our offense that we haven't seen yet.
Since A backs, I'm thinking, are not the ones expected to break tackles at the LoS, CPJ is holding a number of plays out until he thinks we can at least get the A backs past the LoS to turn them loose with some space to work their magic.
So I think as soon as the OL gets to the point CPJ wants them to be at, we are going to see an entirely new layer of offense that, as yet, has not been revealed. And we are recruiting and developing a serious wealth of talent to unleash once we reach that point.
As good as it is, folks, its only going to get better. A lot better.
